Scarlett Johansson talks love, marriage and music in the November issue of Glamour which hit stands on October 6.

On body image: "There was this rumor mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds — I could never lose 14 pounds. . . I hate seeing these ridiculous articles where [tabloids] guess someone’s weight. . . I can’t look at somebody who is 6 feet tall and 120 pounds and say, I’m going to get that body. That’s just never going to happen. You have to work with what you’ve got."

On getting married: "I never really thought about getting married — it just kind of happened. It seemed natural, the right thing to do. It was kind of a celebration of the time. . . I think the only difference is that I’m kind of making my own little family now, which is funny. It’s like a little bit of a tribe. You hope that a relationship makes you better, that you learn things about yourself. You’ve had this one view, and now you have another view. I feel more confident to explore things within myself that I hadn’t thought about in the past. . . My parents divorced when I was 13, so it was not the ideal representation of marriage."

The trailer looks amazing and shows some of the fashion shoots and stars the stylists work with including: Nicole Richie, Ashley Tisdale, Keri Hilson and Kim Kardashian to name a few. Can't wait!!

According to NY Mag, the invite reads "Amid the glitz and glamour of New York Fashion Week, Snuggie™ will host a runway show of its own, taking center stage to showcase the latest colors, fabrics and patterns. Celebrity host Ross “The Intern” Mathews will dish about the sexiest looks in blanket-wear and adult, kid and even canine models will hit the runway."

New Addition to the TODAY Show

While I usally blog about fashion and celebrities, I do pay attention to what is going on in the media as it is part of my real job, afterall.

Yesterday it was announced that former first daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, will be a monthly correspondent for the TODAY Show, covering education issues.

I think the TODAY Show's selection is great as Jenna will be really be able to speak to issues surrounding education as she is currently a school teacher in Baltimore and has authored two books.

I think that her level of celebrity will allow her to bring to light important issues surroundng education, urban education, women and children's issues and literacy. I think she is a good pick in that people will be interetsed in what she has to say--whether they like her or not!

Divas!

VH1 is bring back its "VH1 Divas" concert, and will be airing live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House on September 17, 2009. The show will air live at 9 PM EST and will be hosted by Paula Abdul.

This year's Divas include: Miley Cyrus, Adele, Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks. I am pretty excited for this year's show! All of the Divas are very young ( I think all under 25 or 30 years), but all VERY talented!

Additional presenters, special guests and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
